Raised Vegetable Garden

The whole advantage of a raised vegetable garden is the control of top quality soil to help your vegetables grow.

Choosing the right mixture of compost, top soil and manure are essential. The largest ingredient will be compost. Lots and lots of compost in your garden is important along with some decomposed manure. A little regular garden soil is nice as a top soil and dressing up your garden.

The garden is raised above ground and this allows for the sun to warm it up faster. With the right soil you can have early planting and better seed germination.

After you have filled your raised vegetable garden you should check the pH level for planting. You might need to adjust the pH level accordingly.

We talk more about pH levels in your raised vegetable garden here.

Happy gardening!
